How are you feeling? I hope you’re truly feeling amazing. If you’re like most of us and not feeling amazing, don’t worry— I get you, and I’m here to help.
My name is Dr. Alice Burron, and my mission is to assist those who are unsure of their next steps in their health journey. I do this by making sense of complex situations, creating effective healing strategies, and providing a fresh perspective on health, as managing it can be particularly challenging these days.
As a physiologist, behavioral health specialist, and healthcare educator, I walk with you, bringing focus and clarity to your situation so healing can happen faster.
Few things are more overwhelming than facing a health issue without knowing what to do. Many people turn to the internet, seek advice from friends and family, or consult doctors. However, the internet can provide misleading information, well-meaning loved ones may offer advice that isn’t suitable for us, and doctors often focus solely on the medical aspect, neglecting holistic approaches. This can lead to missed opportunities for healing.
Right now, you have a health strategy—whether you realize it or not. If you’re unsure what it is, you might be more easily swayed by external influences. Unfortunately, many of us aren’t making the best health decisions, as statistics show. Our society often prioritizes medical interventions, leading to billions in unnecessary expenses.
We seek health information online, yet few of us can confidently assess its accuracy. Additionally, we spend millions on quick-fix solutions like diets and supplements, often without lasting results. Despite many of us believing our health is good or excellent, the reality is that many are overweight or have preventable conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, and even mental health issues. This disconnect indicates a need for a more intentional health strategy.
I’m not here to criticize but to state the facts. Managing our health is difficult due to misinformation, cultural influences, and environmental factors. These challenges can be destructive, but thankfully, our bodies are resilient and naturally inclined to heal. I leverage this resilience to aid faster recovery.
That’s where this Substack comes in. I’m here to debunk common health misconceptions, explore how the body responds to various interventions, and provide core strategies to help you stay healthy. I’ll also give you a sneak peek into my upcoming book, set for release in early 2025—you’ll be the first to know the title!
